It is always an exciting day when the new game field arrives. We are grateful to have the chance to use it in our building process.

Delivery far too late
Delivery was far too late into our robotics season

Incomplete Set
I'm pretty sure you have heard this more than once. I think not having enough stones is very poor planning. They expect kids to train without a entire set.
-
Slow delivery--stones still not here.
Over-priced product, a captive market, and the company is unable to meet a reasonable delivery time. We have less than a month until our first scrimmage and we have received only four Skystones.

Courteous and Prompt
We are one of the first Maker Fairs of the fall season and Andy Mark has always come through in making sure the fair has the field ready for the teams to scrimmage. They are courteous and prompt. Thank you Andy Mark staff!

Think BIGGER!!! Shipping cost unreasonable
Hey, Fourteen year FRC Engineering mentor, and first time FTC Team Lead. Think bigger Andy Mark, FIRST. Team with regional organizations and have have these field kits pre-positioned in at least 6 sites across the county, at a vastly cheaper shipping rate. Then when we all order it, the shipping costs are much, much lower. It will take some innovation (were FIRST) and data analysis, but it would be better for us all.

Expensive
The construction of the game set is fine. However, the price was extreme compared to what was received.

Not worth over $450 plus shipping. I wish we could have made it witj 3d printer, but we do not have one yet. Someone is making a lot of money on this setup. Kids can can barely afford to compete and then we need a full arena this year as it crosses over. We will have to drop out next year to fundraise in order to compete year after next. We are only team in our County and we are on East side of WA state. I hope they make thus more affordable next year. Thank you!

Quality/Cost vs. Time Savings
The type of components (stickers, blocks) and the overall quality the components makes me question the huge cost being charge for this year's field set...our stickers were wrinkled with fold lines down the middle ( they spend a few days between old textbooks to help with this), our kit was missing two blots/screws and required a trip to the hardware store, and lots of our blocks had "seem issues" and were of questionable quality. With the above said, I know that it doesn't really SEEM like it is worth $450 and I am sure lots of teams and mentors look at it (like I did) and wonder why would I order this, it is SO expensive (especially when it arrives with quality issues) but I will say is although I could replicate a lot of the field on my own, there is a lot to be said for the balance of cost of the items and the cost of my time/my teams time. Ordering this from AndyMark saves A LOT of time that we can instead focus on building and coding our robot. Being able to work with official field elements does help, especially with inexperienced or younger coders that may not be able to compensate for differences with a team made field.....as much as I hate to say it ordering it here with all of its imperfections is still the best bet for teams who can afford to do so.....

SkyStone Game Set
Everything was in the kit just fine and it went together fairly easily.

Easiest field to build ever!
Been assembling FTC fields for a long time and this is the best one yet! The only tricky part is getting the holes to line up for the bridge holders, I would insert all 3 screws first, then slide the second plastic part over, rather than doing one bolt at a time, maybe one didnt line up perfect, but just tightening the screw was able to pull it all together. Great job AndyMark!

Looks great so far...
Our team has not yet assembled the field set, but I did check the box and found everything packed well and intact. I want to thank our Missouri FTC director Bob Dumler for traveling to Andymark and picking up game sets for us and several other teams, saving us nearly $90 shipping.
