It's a perfectly fine aluminum sprocket.
It's a perfectly fine aluminum sprocket. Had I any other choice I would have preferred steel but I was in a rush and the part worked as expected.

They work just like they should, but essentially the same thing, but anodized and LASER engraved with size, is available from another robot parts distributor for less money.
