Making a spinny thing that needs a power supply path from the not-spinny part to the spinny part? Well, have we got the answer for you. Slip rings are used to transfer power from a stationary structure to a rotating structure, without a mess of tangled wires. These are particularly useful for turrets or wind turbines and do not contain mercury or liquid.
2 Wire Slip Ring:
- Three 0.125 in. holes on an 0.70 in. bolt circle to mount
- For use in FRC
- This is legal for FRC per the 2023 rules, please read the rules and verify
6 Wire Slip Ring:
- Three #10 holes on a 1.65 in. bolt circle to mount
- For use in FRC
- This is legal for FRC per the 2023 rules, please read the rules and verify
- Before installation, please refer to R624 for wiring guidelines on which wires may be used for what
