Product Overview

Pixy2 is smaller, faster and more capable than the original Pixy. Like its predecessor, Pixy2 can learn to detect objects that you teach it, just by pressing a button. Pixy2 has new algorithms that detect and track lines for use with line-following robots. The new algorithms can detect intersections and “road signs” as well. The road signs can tell your robot what to do, such as turn left, turn right, slow down, etc. And Pixy2 does all of this at 60 frames-per-second, so your robot can be fast, too.

    really cool!

    They did a great job on the already cool Pixy... Pixy2 is great... the fact that it can connect to the RoboRio and be used in LabView is awesome! This little pal will get you going with vision in no time. Lots of ways to use it with your bots. It needs some work done in order to take advantage of all its potential, yet brings robot vision in no time. For FRC, we preferred using it with an Arduino as a coprocessor (might not be optimal, but we found that as we use other secondary systems, it was quite an advantage, besides it works right out the box!). For other robot projects, its a bliss. The form factor might look a bit strange, specially with the connecting ports, but once you learn all its features, you get to understand why and better off 3D print or get something for this awesome vision sensor!
