Works well with some modification
This was a big improvement in battery holding. The bungee cord wasn't working for us so we got two eyebolts and put a plastic bar between them. We held the bar in place with nuts on both ends. It held very well and was fairly easy to remove when needed. Generally this design worked well with the modifications we used.

Great battery solution!
This is a great battery mounting solution if you can spare one of those two particular bits of volume! We used it in 2015 ad 2016. In 2017, we did a half-chassis (4 wheels) and wanted to keep the lower rear clear for a gear pickup, so we did a different battery solution.

"LOVE IT!"
"We received the mount and it attaches to the back of the robot, no issue. We're excited to use it this season as battery mounting has always been an issue for us. Thanks for the great product AndyMark!"

"pretty good battery holder"
"Ordered three without realizing they were made for Andy-Mark chassis, but they still work well enough. If you tighten the screws around a battery it fits less tightly."

"Batteries don't fit (again)"
"The battery tray is too narrow to comfortable fit a standard FRC battery. We can get most of our batteries in if we really force them, but they are then "stuck" and are extremely difficult to remove. We have one battery that won't fit at all. This is the second year in a row that the battery tray for the kit has been too small. (AndyMark Response 1/19/2015: Dustin, we're sorry to hear this. In our testing the batteries fit great. We'd like for you to contact us so we can help. If the part is faulty we can work on a replacement. Thanks!)"
