Product Overview
This charger is a great tool for competition robotics teams and hobbyists using Lead Acid batteries. Dual Pro chargers charge batteries to 100% specific gravity every charge, and are able to adjust current in the absorption and finish stages based on the battery's communication with the charger
There are 3 unique charging banks included in this charger, meaning that you can charge three batteries at a time. Each bank has a capacity of 6 AMPs. This charger supplies a safe amperage level to quickly charge 12V lead acid batteries. The charger is engineered for occasions which need a charging system that may require the battery to be left on the charger for days at a time.
We have installed SB-50A connectors on each of the three charging circuits, which make this charger ready for robot batteries.
Ensure that the batteries have had sufficient time to cool before charging. Neglecting this step may be detrimental to the longevity and overall performance of the batteries.

Troubleshooting & Warranty:
These chargers are on the cutting edge of technology. Dual Pro chargers can detect as low as 6 volts on a 36 volt system and 8 volts on a 48 volt system. Low voltage detection eliminates jump starting and service calls which save you time and money.
Dual Pro goes beyond what normal chargers do. Normally your average charger only charges your battery until it gets warm enough and your battery tells your charger that it's done. That is not the case for Dual Pro, they acknowledge this and also know that most batteries only get 80% of their full charge from ordinary chargers.
The DeltaVolt charge profile changes that. By giving you a full 100% charge, your batteries runtime will increasing by 10-15% per charge which will increase your overall battery life by 20-25%. Pay a little bit more now for your charger and save a lot more money with longer battery lives and having no more service calls.

Very Convenient
Much easier to transport than three separate chargers (which is what we had been doing since 2019). Would also recommend that teams use three different colours of electrical tape to label corresponding status lights and connectors. Charger provides us with one location to charge all our batteries and with the red & green indicator lights, it is easy to tell when the batteries are ready to go.

Solid Product
This battery charger does the trick. The default one that you can get in the rookie KoP is nothing compared to this. The mounting hardware screws are fairly long and make good contact with any wooden substrate. The wires are long enough that they will reach a decent distance to any battery, and need to be organized if in a confined environment. I highly recommend attaching this charger to some kind of battery cart though, because it is heavy.

"wired incorrectly"
"2 out of 3 connectors were wired improperly. We had to cut their connectors off and rewire them to get it to charge batteries. We would have returned it but got it just in time for regional and needed it. Otherwise charged nicely (AndyMark response: We apologize for the issue, we have contacted and worked out the problems.)"

Watch your power bar
This is a wonderful charger, but remember that most power bars are rated for 15 amps and this runs at 18 amps so it needs to be plugged directly to the socket.

"Ok for quick charge, but not for battery life"
"This charger is alright for getting your batteries up above 13 volts, however, expect the current draw of your robot to drain the battery in a matter of a match if you are running more than one CIM motor for your drive system. The best bet is to get a combination charger that does 2A, 4A, and 6A charge capabilities to extend your batter life. Otherwise, expect to replace your batteries every two years. The best way to get the most life out of your batteries is to charge them to full capacity at 2A, then at 4A, then at 6A. This will make your batteries last quite a while."
