Usage:
If using this shaft with the SRX Magnetic Encoder (am-3445), the SRX Magnetic Encoder Mounting Hardware Kit (am-3565) will be needed. The hardware allows for proper spacing of the encoder from the shaft magnet on Toughbox® Series Gearboxes and the EVO Shifter.

The magnet is to long for this of Kit of Parts gear box. Magnet needs to be short. To remove existing magnet is to hard, the magnet breaks. [AndyMark Response: It is difficult to diagnose this problem without context but it sounds like you may be trying to use the shaft with an SRX Mag Encoder (am-3445) without the SRX Mag Encoder Hardware Kit (am-3565) - this kit includes a spacer which will locate the encoder at the correct distance from the magnet. Please refer to the Hardware Kit page for detailed installation instructions.]

Good shaft
The shaft is good, but the magnet is easily broken off. It is best to have a spare if you are relying on encoders for your drive system.
