Go-to controller for closed loop
Just that - this has absolutely become our go-to controller for closed loop operations. No setting up PID loops in programming, just connect a sensor and tell it what you want it to do - and it does it! Especially when coupled with current limiting options, this is the biggest controls revolution since I've been involved in FRC (2012) - bigger than the switch from cRIO to RoboRIO, probably bigger than the introduction of Java a few years before.

Very flexible motor controller
The SRX has CAN, serial and PWM. It can handle a lot of power for its size. I wish they were a little cheaper, but you get a lot for the money.

Web Site is hard to maneuver around

Upgraded older part.
We have used the previous Talon motor controls for several years. This upgraded one has some improvements, but the break out board for the Limit switches and analog signals is too delicate and hard to use. It takes a very experienced solder technician to be able to solder wires on the pads provided. A better arrangement would be a through hole that a wire is soldered into.

Robot Mechanics
This is very good of the speed control system for the engine and made my test of our Arduino and then this system, it's all to help the engine to the minimum and maximum speed must link with 12V 17Ah up, is strong with strength to the engine and is very good in quality to the test, and all good to help mechanics to our robotics.
