Aluminum Hex Sprocket
It would be nice to have a set screw incorporated into this part. It would be more useful.

Great sprockets
They're just what I expected. In fact, I somewhat doubted that they were actually made of 7075 aluminum (much stronger than 6061 and even 2024) but I'm pretty convinced they are. I have 1/2 hex stock and since it's slightly oversized I thought I'd press these onto it. I did, but it didn't exactly press, it broached the outside of my 6061-T6 stock and made for a great mount. I'm using some banebots wheels that I also highly recommend to anyone using these sprockets on small robots. Furthermore I recommend these sprockets and roller chain over timing belts which are simply inadequate at low speeds and high torques (300 inch-oz) and greater.
