The AndyMark EVO Slim is a line of single-speed gearboxes, offering a high performance, lightweight solution to create robust drivetrains for competition robots. The EVO Slim line of gearboxes share many common parts with the EVO Shifter, including weight relieving features, as well as all steel gears and aluminum plates. The EVO Slim gearboxes ship with the am-0801a Toughbox® Long Hex Output Shaft as standard, but teams can switch out the shaft for any other Toughbox® Output Shaft (sold separately.)
This configuration of the EVO Slim accepts up to 2 motors.
This gearbox is shipped in kit form, not assembled. The EVO Slim ships with hardware to accept up to two CIM Motors (am-0255). Please note CIM motors are not included with these gearboxes.
Note about CIMs:
The EVO Shifter utilizes a 15 Tooth 32DP gear as the CIM gear which requires a press fit. Due to the intended interference fit (0.001 - 0.002") along the 0.750" long gear, a minimum 3 ton arbor press is required to install this gear onto the motor in conjunction with a provided aluminum spacer to help set the distance of which the pinion should be installed from the end of the motor shaft (approximately 0.40"). If you do not have access to this size arbor press, we have the option to add CIM motors to your order with the pinion gears pre-installed, available as am-0255_15T.

The EVO Slim for CIM accepts either the E4T Optical Encoder Kit or the SRX Mag Encoder. When using the SRX Mag Encoder, use the SRX Magnetic Encoder Mounting Hardware Kit.
