Compact Elevator Bearing and Structure Kits

The AndyMark Compact Elevator system is our next generation line of products to help FIRST Robotics Competition teams create high quality, reliable and robust linear motion mechanisms, such as an elevator or extension arm. This product page features several different bundles of our Compact Elevator Bearing Kits paired with structural components curated for specific linear mechanism applications. Available as powertrain ready kits on this page, we're offering bundles of bearing kits, tubing and structural hardware for both 1x1 and 2x1 tubing sizes in 1 and 2 stage elevator (or other linear mechanism) configurations. All options are available with and without tubing included for teams utilizing 1x1 or 2x1 tubing from other vendors. The hardware included in these bundles is compatible with tubing with a wall thickness of up to .125", making it compatible with a wide variety of extrusions in the market.

These particular bundles have been made available for teams looking to utilize their own powertrain solutions, but are looking for products for the structure and linear bearings for their mechanisms.

The core of this system are our Compact Elevator Bearing Kits that are designed to be easy to integrate into your robot design, and provide smooth rolling motion for your linear mechanisms. In these bundles, these bearing kits are paired with our 1x1 or 2x1 0.063" wall tubing for lightweight structures. Joining this tubing together are our thoughtfully designed Elevator Corner Brackets, that provide robust connections via included 3/16" rivets between sections of tubing. These brackets have thought-out geometry to help increase the travel of linear mechanisms up to 4 inches per stage compared to traditional 90 degree full-sized corner gussets used in our previous elevator designs. Simply cut your tubes square and to length, clamp these brackets in the corners and match drill, then install the steel rivets for a strong lightweight connection.

Each kit ships as an unassembled kit of parts (with 6' long sections of aluminum tubing if selected.) Teams will need to cut tubes to lengths according to the assembly guides (coming soon) in order to build linear mechanisms. Please check out example CAD files on this page for more information.
