Product Overview:
This cooler is designed to fit the CIM motor FRC teams love so much. This cooler helps disperse heat away from the motor, preserving the life of the motor. Combine more than 1 CIM Cooler (tm) at different cut angles to produce various coverage angles from 10-360 degrees.

When using thermal compound between the CIM Cooler (tm) and the motor, test results show from 5-30 degrees F lower operating temperatures.

Quantity 1 of this part provides 180 degrees of motor coverage.

CIM cooler solved overheating April 4, 2017

We had for CIMs buried down low amid ton of stuff. Added one cooler to each and the overheating stopped. Mounting was snap-on and we used a heat transferring compound

The quality and performance of this heat sink are exceptionally good! I drilled a couple of holes in the flange of each heat sink to join two sinks in a 360 degrees heat sink. I use 4 heat sinks to cover the 2.5" CIM motors (am-0255).
Very pleased with customer service and order deliveries.

Need a dimensional definition so can allow room  and evaluate cooling with and without a fan.
