This unassembled kit can be used to make a winch drum that can be powered by components with a 6 mm D shaft such as a PicoBox or NeveRest. It also has the FTC 16 mm bolt circle on it so you can directly drive it with a NeveRest Sport gearbox. Winch drums are usefull to coil up a string or cable that is being used to actuate a linear slide or elevator mechanism
