Product Overview:
The Planetary Gearbox (PG) series of gearboxes and gearmotors feature robust planetary gearing inside paired with reliable motors. You asked for it, we delivered. This gearbox now features TWO HEX output shaft options to easily attach to 3/8 in. or 1/2 in. bore wheels, sprockets, and other motion products without the need for special adapters.

Note: The PG Series of Planetary Gearboxes are compatible with the motors for the specific ratios (RS775-5 Motor, with Encoder For PG27 Gearbox and RS775-5 Motor, with Encoder For PG71 and PG188 Gearbox), or the AndyMark 9015 Motor using a Hardware Kit for PG Gearbox with Pinion Gear for 9015 Motor, but are NOT compatible with the AndyMark RedLine Motor.

  • Note: Because the encoder is connected to the back of the motor shaft, the rotation is backwards from normal front mounted encoders so you will need compensate for this in software or simply connect Ch. A output to your Ch. B input and Ch. B output to your Ch. A input.
