The 3CIM4U line of gearboxes has been discontinued. We recommend the 3 Motor Toughbox with optional hex output shaft OR the EVO Slim 3 CIM for 3 CIM single speed drive gearboxes.
The 3CIM Toughbox gearbox builds off the reliability and durability of the Toughbox. The 3CIM4U further builds off of that line by providing 3 motor single speed capabilities as a drop in option for the AM14U family of chassis. This gearbox can accept up to three (3) motors. These motors can be CIM Motors or other motors attached to the AM Planetary gearbox. This gearbox is shipped in kit form, not assembled. CIM Motors (am-0255) are not included with this gearbox.

Weight Reduction with Optional Aluminum Gears
An optional Encoder Package can be purchased and added to this Toughbox. If you already have a US Digital Encoder to fit this Toughbox, this Encoder Mount Pad will help you mount the encoder to the Toughbox. Aluminum Hex Output Shafts:
This gearbox can use a long hex aluminum output shaft, but this shaft is longer than the standard shaft and will most likely need to be cut down in length.
All AndyMark gearboxes require grease for proper operation and long life. We suggest using our red tacky grease, am-2768. We also encourage that the user powers the gearbox continuously for 30 minutes without grease to allow the gear teeth to wear in. While we do design with short run times in mind, this 'run in' period for smooth gearbox operation, is recommended. Once this is completed, thoroughly grease the gear teeth periodically to ensure smooth operation.
